The Dawn of Grace: A Plea for Reconciliation

The tempest fades within your azure gaze,
And silence weeps where angry words were sown;
I stand before you, lost in sorrow’s haze,
To claim the fault strictly as my own.

I seek no triumph in a hollow fight,
Nor armor for a heart laid bare and cold;
For without thee, endless is the night,
And grey the world that once was bright with gold.

Behold how calm returns upon the deep,
As gentle winds disperse the storm above;
Let not thy heart in bitter shadows sleep,
But wake once more to pardon and to love.

Accept this olive branch with grace divine,
And let the rain of tears no longer fall;
Place once again thy trembling hand in mine,
For thou art my repose, my life, my all.

Forgiveness is often the highest form of love, requiring the courage to be vulnerable and the strength to heal what was broken. Let these stanzas serve as the bridge back to the heart you cherish, reminding both souls that the sun shines brightest after the darkest clouds have parted.
