The Arson of the Soul: A Celestial Fusion

Thy gaze, a chasm deep where spirits fall,
A comet’s blaze that heeds a mystic call.
Upon my skin, thy touch is searing light,
Awakening dormant suns within the night.

We are the tempest and the raging sea,
The zephyr’s breath and ember’s decree.
No bounds exist betwixt thy heart and mine,
But one vast pulse, electric and divine.

Within this crucible of golden fire,
Our souls dissolve in fumes of sweet desire.
A sacred rite where flesh and phantom blend,
A path on which the lonely shadows end.

O mirror of my mind, my joy, my pain,
Let us consume the stars and drink the rain.
For when our beings clasp in final flight,
We touch the Infinite through love’s delight.

In the tradition of the great Romantics, this verse explores the paradox of passion: we must lose ourselves to find completion. It suggests that true intimacy is a form of elemental chaos, a beautiful destruction of boundaries that allows two souls to touch the sublime.
