The Silent Vigil: Whispers of Unspoken Love

I view thee daily, distant star so bright,
And in my shadows guard thy golden light.
My heart beats soft, obscured from mortal eyes,
Beneath the weight where tender secret lies.

You walk beside me, grazing solitude,
Blind to the flame that warms my quiet mood.
I make of silence but a sanctuary,
Wherein thy spirit ever safe shall be.

Upon the pages of my soul’s closed book,
Thy name is written in a private nook.
I am the watcher tending winter’s bloom,
Who cultivates a rose within the gloom.

Perchance a glance, amidst the silent air,
Shall bridge the void of this divine despair.
Until that hour, I love thee in the shade,
As one who worships sun where dreams are made.

There is a profound beauty in a love that asks for no acknowledgment. Like a flower blooming in a deserted forest, its existence is its own purpose, offering a fragrance known only to the soul that carries it.
