Long ere our mortal breath began to sigh,
Amidst the stardust and the cosmic vast,
My spirit sought thee in the velvet sky,
A bond forged deep within the ancient past.
Through aeons dark I wandered, lost and lone,
A pilgrim searching for a shrine unseen;
Until the fabric of the fates was sewn,
And time unveiled what had forever been.
No stranger’s gaze met mine when we did meet,
But recognition of a soul kindred;
The cycle of the stars is now complete,
By unseen hands our destined paths were led.
Two fragments of one star, apart and torn,
Now mend the breach that severed us of old;
In this divine embrace, a world is born,
A love that galaxies and ages hold.
